The Daily Journal of Commerce held its annual TopProjects awards event on the evening of Thursday, May 16th in Portland, Oregon. Lee Gwyn, Steve Hockman and Roland Boschmann from Lenity were in attendance.
Over 550 attendees gathered in the Portland Ballroom of the Oregon Convention Center for the 24th annual TopProjects awards. A judging team of seven building industry professionals evaluated nearly 100 entries and conferred awards to 42 of the most outstanding projects completed in Oregon and Washington in the last year. Award categories ranged from Health Care, Hospitality – Hotels, Tenant Improvement, Major Renovation, Office – New Construction, Multifamily, and Education – just to name a few.
We are pleased to announce Lenity’s project The Tieton placed third overall in the Major Renovation category. Lenity worked closely with the developer, Stephens and Sons Construction, and Leslie Engineering to transform this major renovation into a vibrant, mixed use development. Lenity is proud of the team and its accomplishments.

“I was amazed by their willingness to dig deep into the design, researching and peeling back the layers of history to find the perfect blend of modern and historic all while paying homage to the past. The results speak for themselves… The finished product received many kudos from the local community leaders for helping their revitalization efforts to the area. With positive public feedback, The Tieton promises to be a sparkling gem of Yakima.”
