Architect II

We are looking for a proactive, self-starter who looks for creative design solutions and is flexible enough to focus on a single client with a variety of project types or multiple projects in various stages of development.

 

Summary:

As Architect II, you will be responsible for finished plans, specifications, and approvals of materials and construction; assisting in the design development, and/or review planning concepts and solutions; developing architectural drawings to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction; and preparing and developing architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc.

We are looking for demonstrated proficiency in using advanced techniques and diverse architectural knowledge of principles and practices. Your contributions are to take responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and material approval; apply sound and diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices in broad array of assignments and related fields; and supervise and guide overall objectives, critical issues, new concepts, and policy matters to ensure project and company goal and initiatives exemplifies the Lenity way.

 

Education + Experience:

  • EDUCATION – Bachelor of Architecture from an accredited university
  • EXPERIENCE – 6+ years of experience
  • Licensed or non-registered graduate certification

 

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency using:
    • Revit
    • AutoCAD
    • SketchUp
  • Demonstrated proficiency using various business software applications including database, spreadsheet, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software:
    • Word
    • Excel
    • Teams
    • Bluebeam
    • Outlook
  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D sketching and modeling techniques (preferred, not required)
  • Knowledge and/or understanding of project management software.
  • Experience managing others along with excellent verbal and communication skills.

 

General Objectives + Responsibilities:

  • Develops architectural drawings to communicate planning concepts for project documentation and construction.  Prepares and develops architectural documents, elevations, sections, details, etc.  Assists in the design development, and/or review planning concepts and solutions.
  • Exhibits diverse knowledge of architecture principles and practices, uses advanced techniques, and has responsibility for finished plans, specifications, and material approval.  Develops technical construction details.
  • Knowledge of current building codes and possess the ability to successfully complete the permitting process with applicable planning officials.
  • Knowledge of addenda and construction change directive procedures. The ability to review and respond to submittal and RFI documentation with sufficient knowledge and understanding of the project and industry.
  • Coordinates with engineering and other consultants.  Consults with manufacturers, evaluates, and helps select project related materials and specifications. Performs product research.
  • Communicates with other disciplines, vendors, and contractors to ensure incorporation of all information into project requirements and provides support, as necessary. Assists Management in writing specifications as needed.
  • Directly supervises architects, designers, and technicians. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

 

Compensation:

CAD Specialist III

We are looking for an experienced, self-motivated CAD Specialist III, who is a multitasking, self-starter with a can-do team-player attitude to join our team.

 

Summary:

As CAD Specialist III, you will take the reins of a project’s technical design; provide planning, design, and coordination on multiple projects with minimal supervision; as well as collaborate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines throughout the design process.

We are looking for high-level technical proficiency and experience. Your contributions are to oversee design aspects of projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions; create project plans for all phases of projects and monitors drawings; and research, plan, design and administer building projects for clients, applying knowledge of design construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials.

 

Education + Experience:

  • EDUCATION – Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
  • EXPERIENCE – 6+ years of experience

 

Technical Skills:

  • Demonstrated proficiency using:
    • Revit
    • AutoCAD
    • SketchUp
  • Demonstrated proficiency using various business software applications including database, spreadsheet, graphics, word processing, presentation creation/editing, communicate by e-mail and use scheduling software:

  • Proficiency in 2D and 3D sketching and modeling techniques (preferred, not required)

  • An ability to interpret design ideas and direction.
  • Creates project plans for all phases of projects and monitors drawings.
  • Oversees design aspects of projects, including investigation, evaluation, and recommendation of design solutions.
  • Coordinates the structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil disciplines throughout the design process.
  • Possesses knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction of buildings.
  • Assists with CAD/BIM standards.
  • Maintains knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principals involved in production of precision technical plans, prints, drawings, and models.
  • Provides technical support, assists users, and acts as a technical resource in project meetings.

 

 

Compensation:
