
Meet Our Newest Architect
Jeanne Sterner-Rush joined the Lenity family in May as Architect II for the commercial team. Her overall goals are to contribute to the success of all projects, develop a strong working relationship with the team, and maximize efficiency and quality through all phases of design and construction by learning Lenity’s standards and project delivery processes.
Leveraging over 25 years of dynamic experience in Commercial Interior Architecture, Jeanne is ready to be a resource and assist the project team in developing interior details or addressing other challenges to achieve buildable and cost-effective solutions. motivated by collaboration, she strongly believes that good design makes the world a better place. With a passion for continual learning, evolution, and improvement – both in self and design, Jeanne earned her BA from the University of Minnesota and her MA in Architecture from Virginia Tech. Additionally, she taught an architecture design studio at the University of Minnesota as an adjunct undergraduate instructor.
Dedicated to career-longevity, most of her career has been with two different companies. Ten years in Aviation (Airport) Design at a multidisciplinary design-oriented firm and ten years with Life Time Construction, which is the real estate development, construction and architecture arm of Life Time Fitness. There, Jeanne designed resort-like sports, professional fitness, and recreation facilities throughout US and Canada. Her extensive experience and education are valuable assets to our team and clients.
Fun Fact about Jeanne:
- Began exploring weaving at the beginning of COVID out of a desire for a creative engagement with the natural world and new found free time and isolation. Finding inspiration in the patterns, palettes and textures found in the natural landscape, she works with natural found objects, natural fiber, and the remnants of human intervention in the world. She is also studying natural dying techniques and would like to incorporate hand dyed fibers into her work.
Meet Our Architectural Illustrator
Dean Cochenour, our Architectural Illustrator, joined Lenity in May. As Architectural Illustrator, Dean is responsible for building 3d models from 2d images, developing architectural design illustrations in 2D and 3D, colored elevations and site plans, oblique site aerials, and 3d schematic models.

With over twenty years’ experience in a broad array of architectural projects – from retail and office to multifamily and medical office – his designs are vibrant, realistic, and unique. His ability to design and communicate successfully in a variety of mediums including CAD, sketching and 3d environments is second to none. His client-focused designs are aimed at showcasing the projects in their best light and angle.
Drawing from opportunities to learn more about how to enhance his images, Dean is constantly striving to be the best in his craft. He is well-versed in many design platforms – 3d Studio Max, Lumion, Revit and Sketchup, just to name a few.
